| Lawrence Enyart, FAIA, LEED AP and LEA-Architects' Glendale Regional Public Safety Training Center (GRPSTC) Academic Building is featured on this months cover of the prestigious Fire Chief Magazine. The 77 acre campus GRPSTC has won several awards including Fire Chiefs Top Gold Award for Design Excellence in 2009 and the Desert Peaks Maricopa Association of Government’s Award for Regional Excellence. LEA Architects is very pleased and extremely proud to receive the ”LEED Platinum” rating for Downtown Scottsdale Fire Station No. 2! The Father and Son Architects, Larry Enyart, FAIA, LEED AP + Lance Enyart, AIA, LEED AP and TEAM LEA are honored to receive this rating. Scottsdale Fire Station No. 2 represents the first Fire Station in the United States to achieve the top Platinum level of LEED Certification from the USGBC.

Communications reports "from more than 2,500 nominated projects,
Downtown Scottsdale Fire Station No. 2 – First Fire Station in the US to be
LEED Platinum and designed by LEA – Architects, Phoenix AZ, has been
selected as a Green Building of America Award-winning project and will be
featured in the upcoming special Real Estate & Construction Review-
Southwest Green Success Stories edition. Each Green Building of America
Success Story project is highlighted in a case study that intertwines the
words of the project's owner/developer, consultants, architects and
contractors to explain how the teams worked together to design and build one
of the region's most important, innovative or unique new or renovated
sustainable facilities." |
