Deborah Kearns CPL Youth Services Library Coordinator said  "We are very grateful for our wonderful new Children’s and Teen area.   You should have seen all the excited families coming in for the first time this morning.  We have gotten lots of positive remarks.  We have had many visitors today and everyone loves it.  It is beautiful.  I thought it was fun and magical going down the yellow brick road as we left the library last night."

City  of Scottsdale opens new fire station no. 602 designed by LEA-Architects father-son team Lawrence Enyart, FAIA, LEED AP  + Lance Enyart, AIA. The new station features many  sustainable green  design principles and boasts being the second building in the city of Scottsdale to achieve meeting the tough USGBC + LEED standards.
City of Goodyear dedicates its newest Fire Station No. 185.  LEA's Lawrence Enyart, FAIA + Randy Jones, RA worked hard to finish the project ahead of schedule.  Fire crews moved into the new station at the end of June.

The Glendale Regional Public Safety Training Center  will receive the Desert Peaks Award for Regional Excellence + Partnership June 25, 2008 from the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG).

LEA Architects host over 300 firefighters from across the nation in a tour of  Phoenix ARFF Station 19 during Fire Chiefs Magazine Station Style Conference '08 . Lawrence Enyart, FAIA and Lance Enyart, AIA were guest speakers at this years Conference.

City of Peoria, AZ Mayor Bob Barrett and Peoria Fire Chief Bob McKibben are presented two separate design excellence awards for Peoria Jomax Station No. 7 by Lawrence Enyart, FAIA, and Lance Enyart, AIA at the City council meeting on March 27, 2008.  Design Architect was Lawrence Enyart, FAIA working with Randy Jones, RA senior  project manager for this award winning LEA project.  Top Gold Award Design Excellence Award from Chicago's Fire Chief Magazine and a separate top Merit Design Excellence award from Fire Rescue Magazine, FIERO, and the International Association of Fire Chiefs. Award presentation photo courtesy of the Peoria Times.  Many Thanks to Peoria professionals and LEA staff who worked hard on this project.

Supervisor; Board Chairman, George Kleindienst;  Tim Kinney, Contractor;  Chief Jim Pond and Lawrence Enyart, FAIA  were featured speakers. 
Jan. 08 LEA was awarded 2 new projects:  City of Tolleson Fire Station and  Administration Offices, a LEED Platinum project and 
                                                                                          Tohono O'Odham Nation Fire + Police Substation in the San Xavier District

Lawrence Enyart, FAIA and LEA-Architects' Peoria Jomax Fire Station No. 197 is featured on this months cover of the prestigious Fire Chief Magazine.  Station No. 197 has won numerous awards including Fire Chiefs Top  Award for Design Excellence in 2007.

The Town of Carefree dedicated it's newest public building, Fire Station No. 1, Saturday, November 17, 2007.  Lawrence Enyart, FAIA, Architect for the project, was a featured speaker at the event, along with Carefree Mayor Wayne Fulcher, Rural Metro Fire Chief Gary Morris, and  Anna Maria Chavez, Deputy Chief of Staff from the Governor's Office.  Hundreds of residents and visitors turned out for the dedication and station tour.  Dedication Lunch festivities were hosted by LEA and ABI.

October 12, 2007:  Ribbon Cutting Ceremony + Dedication of the Peoria Jomax Fire Station No. 197.   Last month, the Peoria Station  won Fire Chief Magazines Top Gold  Award for Design Excellence.  Lawrence Enyart, FAIA,  Architect of the Fire Station,  was a guest speaker.  Randy Jones, RA LEA Project Manager, Lance Enyart, AIA, and Jeremy Koh, of LEA were recognized for their significant contributions.

Sep. 07   LEA wins Fire Chief Magazine's Gold Top  Award for Design Excellence in Satellite Category for Peoria Jomax Fire Station No. 197.  The Peoria Fire Station  will be featured in Fire Chief Magazine later this fall. Congratulations to everyone involved with this project!

Lawrence Enyart, FAIA was a feature speaker at the popular Station Style conference in Denver on April 28 - May 1, 07.  He spoke on Sustainable Buildings and Public Safety Training Centers.  He also served as Design Seminar leader addressing numerous building concerns of Fire Service leaders from across the US.
