Design Architect was Lawrence Enyart, FAIA working with Randy Jones, RA senior project manager for this award winning LEA project. Top Gold Award Design Excellence Award from Chicago's Fire Chief Magazine and a separate top Merit Design Excellence award from Fire Rescue Magazine, FIERO, and the International Association of Fire Chiefs. The Town of Carefree dedicated
it's newest public building, Fire Station No. 1, Saturday, November 17,
2007. Lawrence Enyart, FAIA, Architect for the project, was a
featured speaker at the event, along with Carefree Mayor Wayne Fulcher,
Rural Metro Fire Chief Gary Morris, and Anna Maria Chavez, Deputy
Chief of Staff from the Governor's Office. Hundreds of residents
and visitors turned out for the dedication and station tour.
Dedication Lunch festivities were hosted by LEA and ABI.
